The Espai Room, dedicated to the work of Marta Blasco, becomes a space for reviewing and reconfiguring time through the visual language of the artist. Through his works, Blasco weaves bridges between the classic and the contemporary, involving the viewer in a conversation between what was and questioning what remains. His reinterpretations of key works in the history of painting such as Las Meninas (2024) and Estudio para las Señoritas de Avignon (2024) are not mere tributes or historical reviews, but rather renewed dialogues from their own language. Blasco focuses his pictorial practice on the invisible: the emptiness of space and the energy that surrounds the figures. In his disdrawings, he opens questions about identity and what is beyond the visible, giving light to that which remains hidden in the environment and in the very essence of the human being. His approach connects the personal and the universal, anchoring the memory of the past in a contemporary vision that transcends time and space.
